Today nokia is the biggest manufacturer of mobile fones, in the second quarter of 2008 included aout 40 percent of the world market share. This company have done great services to Finland. It’s 30 percent capital is accounted as nation’s market capitalization. But Nokia’s start up was a really undersized-it all started in 1865.
In the beginning of the XX century, Fredrik Idestam established a wood-pulp mill, nowdays it is known as the Nokia Corporation. At the begining it was founded in the south western Finland town Tampere but later removed to Nokia town as the reason that the company can use the Nokianvirta river.they say that this river have better hydropower production. The company’s name, Nokia, is originated on this river.
